Bupkis 002 Launches

The Art of Working Women

Madhat Girls are a platform of creative women who want to share stories about the working world and provide support and advice on career transitioning. Madhat girls was created by Anthea and Bexa, who are two young female creatives based in London. Madhat girls has really expanded since first launching and continues to grow. Creating a community of women that help other women.

'The Art of Working Women' exhibition was set up by Madhat Girls in celebration of international womens day 2020. Taking place at artFix in Woolwich (prior to covid19 lockdown). Bupkis zine was asked to take part, which was very exciting as it was the perfect oppertunity to launch our new zine, '002 Green n Mean' for people to see for the first time and also buy. Alongside our latest issue we also had merchandise and our first issue also available for people to purchase.

We would like to say thank you to Madhat Girls for asking us to be a part of this, it was an absaloute pleasure to launch our new zine and exhibit alongside an array of other talented female creatives. Although the exhibition had to shut down earlier than expected due to the goverment lockdown (boo!) the private view was a huge success with a great turn-out. Thank you to everyone that came along and bought a zine :)
